Meet the Youth Citizen Science Advisory Council

  • Hannah Lennon

    Hannah Lenon is an undergraduate student specializing in Anthropology and an advocate for mental health and wellness in London and Western Communities. Passionate about student-centric and community mental health resources and research, she contributes to DEPtH Lab's YCSAC, fostering innovation and human connection for improved support within digital spaces. Leveraging her expertise and passion for her local community, she hopes to continue to support innovative efforts within the community for all students in professional spaces, on campus, and abroad.

  • Reema Rawal

    Reema Rawal is an undergraduate student at Western University, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Health Science. With a passion for health equity, she aspires to make a meaningful impact through research and health advocacy with the DEPtH Lab's Youth Citizen Advisory Council. ​​Driven by a desire to bridge gaps in healthcare, she envisions a future where her dedication to health science and research fosters positive change and improves the well-being of communities.

  • Ebun Esomojumi

    Ebun Esomojumi (she/her), currently in her third year as a Health Science major at the University of Western Ontario, finds fulfillment in studying current health disparities and exploring ways to enhance them, ensuring that everyone can attain their optimal health. The opportunity presented at the DEPtH Lab then aligns perfectly with her enthusiasm as she looks forward to contributing to the team's efforts and bettering society. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting and designing acrylic nails.

  • Lana Mamika

    Lana Mamika is an undergraduate student in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Western University. She is pursuing an Honours Specialization in Health Sciences and Biology. Lana has a keen interest in unpacking health disparities through research and technological innovation. Lana joined the DEPtH Lab to expand on her cross-disciplinary abilities in digital health to produce impact changes in marginalized populations

  • Victoria Biasone

    Victoria Biasone is a second-year undergraduate student in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Western University. Driven to navigate the digital world, she is eager to come up with effective health solutions while engaging with experts in support of coming together to make an impact in this field. Victoria is passionate about research on youth mental health and infectious disease. She is excited to be an advocate for diverse health outcome approaches while coordinating projects towards applications in health equity and quantitative research methods. During her free time, Victoria enjoys exercising and spending time with friends and family.

  • Avneet Sandhu

    Avneet Sandhu (she/her) is a first-year Western University social science student who is interested about mental health advocacy and sociology. Passionate about global issues and community engagement, especially with youth, she seeks to blend academic insights with real-world impact to foster positive change.

  • Salaar Sheikh

    Salaar Sheikh is an undergraduate student in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Western University. He is pursuing an Honours Specialization in Health Sciences. Salaar joined the DEPtH Lab as a stakeholder. His passion for community research and development to promote health equity and address key issues led him to participate in initiatives he believes would improve health in all forms throughout his community. Salaar hopes to learn more from this experience and apply this knowledge to foster change and development in the field of health studies.
