Katarina Bursac, HBSc

Research Coordinator

Katarina holds an HBSc from the University of Toronto, where she specialized in Biology and minored in Philosophy of Science. She is currently pursuing her MSc in Occupational and Public Health at Toronto Metropolitan University. She is an aspiring mixed-methods public health researcher with experiences conducting research with vulnerable populations to improve health outcomes and reduce barriers to achieving health and wellbeing. She is also passionate about sustainability, climate change, and social determinants of health in urban environments. At the DEPtH Lab, she is contributing to multiple projects encompassing Indigenous health, digital citizen science, and cross-institutional research partnerships for capacity building. In her free time, Katarina enjoys knitting and hiking.
