Opeyemi Afolabi holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology and a background in Microbiology, reflecting her interdisciplinary passion for bridging technology and health. With professional experience in full-stack software development and applied AI, she is driven by the belief that thoughtfully designed digital systems can improve health outcomes at scale. At DEPtH Lab, Opeyemi is interested in digital epidemiology, AI-enabled health interventions, and precision-prevention approaches that advance health equity. She is particularly motivated to explore how real-time data systems and adaptive digital platforms can support proactive, inclusive healthcare solutions.
