Renee Wint-White, BSc

MSc Trainee

Renee Wint-White is a recent graduate from the Faculty of Science at Carleton University, where she completed an Honours degree in Biochemistry. She is motivated by a commitment to advancing health equity and improving access to oral healthcare, with a strong interest in research that bridges biomedical science and community impact. Her prior work explored redox modulation in lung fibroblast cells, examining gene expression pathways related to tissue remodelling and cellular stress. Renee is particularly interested in how translational research and digital health innovations can address disparities in preventive care and chronic disease outcomes. She is excited to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams dedicated to inclusive, impactful health research. In her free time, Renee enjoys playing piano, creating lifestyle and beauty content, and mentoring aspiring students in STEM.
